INDYCAR's #FastSix is a report that borrows from all things found online about Verizon IndyCar Series racing, its drivers and people. We find pics, quips and the occasional GIF as INDYCAR drivers live their extraordinary lives and put the evidence on Twitter, Instagram and more. Check back regularly for the latest.

Desperate times, desperate measures

When it has been a long offseason for INDYCAR drivers, it sometimes calls for desperate measures. Team Penske’s Simon Pagenaud found his latest ride at none other than Menards, strategically fitting into a kids' racecar-themed shopping cart.

Good thing we've got an #IndyCar test tomorrow at Sebring. I've gotten really desperate and resorted to racing the shopping carts at @Menards 🤣 #saveBIGmoney pic.twitter.com/JwMdObpjGh

Football to Fútbol

A trip to England isn’t complete without attending a Premier League match, especially when you are an avid fútbol fan like Ed Carpenter Racing’s Spencer Pigot, who caught his favorite club Manchester United.

Always fun to see @manchesterunited in action but would have liked a win! Hopefully get one at Old Trafford in a few days. . . . #manchesterunited #mufc #football

An “Amazing Race” reunion

As an alum of “Amazing Race” Season 30, Conor Daly made a few great friends out of his time off on the show, including competitive eater Joey Chestnut. Chestnut was in Indianapolis to participate in the St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail Eating Championship and defended his title by winning the contest with a world record. Sounds like it was an amazing race to eat that much shrimp cocktail that quickly.

The absolute LEGEND @joey.chestnut broke a world record today. 18lbs 9oz of shrimp cocktail! What a sight to see! 😂 #StElmo #Shrimp #Legend #Indiana #AmazingRace

Graham’s golf game

As an avid golfer when he has the chance, Graham Rahal finally got one of golf’s greatest achievements, a hole in one. The Rahal Letterman Lanigan driver earned the hole in one while on vacation in Hawaii with his wife, Courtney. Congrats on such an awesome achievement!

I did it! FINALLY!!!! A hole in one. I’ve played for my entire life, never had one. So pumped up, what a day. Emerald course, Wailea Golf Club #16. Amazing day!

Finders, keepers

Everyone knows the feeling when you clean your house and you find something that you completely forgot you had. Marco Andretti spent some time reminiscing with 13 years of firesuits, including some of his dad, Michael, old firesuits. Now the question Marco needs an answer to is if he can keep the firesuits since he owns the house now?

Hey @michaelandretti - If I found these in the house I bought from you, I get to keep them right ? 🙌🏽 #coolfind pic.twitter.com/adnPHBhWvl

INDYCAR: The band

Hobbies become very important to many people, but especially to INDYCAR drivers when they don’t have race weekends in the offseason. Andretti Autosport driver Zach Veach found a cure by taking up playing the guitar. Who knows, maybe there will be an INDYCAR band one day with Veach, Will Power, who enjoys playing the drums, and other drivers.

What’s another hobby.... Lucky for you, you can’t hear time-lapse videos. 😅 pic.twitter.com/Mf7szznkbA
