“The Firestone Race Tire Engineering team will bring to Toronto the same race-proven alternate tire technology used this season in Detroit, along with the same primary construction from last year’s Toronto race. Given the mix of concrete and asphalt surfaces found on the street circuit here, our team has developed a new primary compound with more grip to help deliver a balance of durability and performance across the varying track surfaces.”
