The GMR Grand Prix is set to take the green flag at 3:46 p.m. (ET) today on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course after lightning and rain in the Indianapolis area forced a delay.
The race will run the scheduled 85 laps or two hours, whichever comes first. The race has been declared a wet start, with all teams starting on Firestone rain tires. The rule requiring use of alternate and primary tires will not be enforced.
