Pato O'Ward earned his second career NTT P1 Award for capturing the pole Saturday afternoon for the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama presented by AmFirst at Barber Motorsports Park.
O'Ward turned a lap of 1 minute, 5.8479 seconds in the No. 5 Arrow McLaren SP Chevrolet. His other career pole came last season at Road America.
Alexander Rossi will share the front row with O'Ward for Sunday's race (3 p.m. ET, NBC) after turning a top qualifying lap of 1:05.9177 in the No. 27 NAPA AUTO PARTS/AutoNation Honda during the Firestone Fast Six.
